People that are equipped with critical thinking skills can comprehend the relationships between ideas and see the significance and relevance of arguments as well as be competent to make a sensible decision based on the situation. Hence, everyone in a workplace must adopt critical thinking skills in order to succeed in their companies or businesses.

Effective communication also plays an important role in a workplace environment. For instance, when problems occur, we tend to make judgements and just act upon what we think is the right thing to do. However, this is not always the way to solve the problem. Communicating with your colleagues or people around you regarding the problem is crucial as it helps to bring out other opinions that you may not be able to think of at that point in time. 

In conclusion, I believe that a leader needs to have effective communication and critical thinking to enable the highest level of work quality and sustain healthy working relationships in the workplace.
